• Utilizes PHP filter extensions to validate and sanitize user input to prevent SQL injection

Freelance iOS Application Developer
Nopoulos Lab

• Contracted by the Nopoulos Lab of the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics division to develop an iOS application to aid a national neural research project in oral word association studies
• Project presents a digital iPad application assessment to be used by the researchers to gain data from participants.

• Developed an iOS application to assist the student council with processing Senior Lunch day order
• Application records lunch order data and allows student council officers to search for specific students
• Diminished processing time from 40 to 8 minutes
• Strengthened communication skills through working closely with the Student Council for desired features

Student Researcher
Villanova University
Jan 2020 - May 2020

• Research under Dr. Beck to promote better use of reusable water bottles by analyzing data from daily water fountain use by students.
• The team researched how to incorporate persuasive human computer interaction (HCI) into daily student activities to convince students to use the bottle-filling stations.
• The conclusion was to implement an app with a points system connected to the Villanova basketball program that would reward students who use the fountains with more nova points which in turn could help get basketball game tickets.
• Encouraged creative collaboration by working remotely to finish the research project due to COVID-19
